01 — How to play
Every system feeds the next one. Wood becomes planks, planks become tools, tools open new zones, and the new zones hold the Shards. The server judges every step. The client cannot report a mission as done.
01
Follow the roads out of Lumen Square. Kubo and an on-screen arrow always point at the next objective.
02
Chop trees, mine veins, fish shorelines and pick berries. Nodes deplete and respawn on a server timer.
03
Saw planks, smelt iron, forge gear, and cook fish that heal you in a fight.
04
Train on dummies in the Armory, then face Glitch Rats, Static Wolves, Null Golems and the Shard Keepers.
05
Place firepits that cook and heal, and raise a Homestead in Mosswire Grove, from Sprout Hut to Root Hall.
06
Sell to shops whose prices push back, list goods on the board, or trade face to face with escrow.
No download and no install. Cybertara runs in the browser. Genesis opens Tara Prime and Mosswire Grove, with Root Path Acts I to III on the public playtest.
Splicing is the skill the story is built around. A spliced node gives its first harvest to the player who cleansed it, so cleaning the Static is always worth the time.

Safe hub
The city itself. Lumen Square and the Core Fountain, the shops, the vault, the Roast Pit, the Armory, the Casino and the portal ring.
Zones · Lumen Square, Circuit Copse, Neonwood, Ashgrid Quarry, Signal Lake, Byte Meadows
Peaceful
An old wired forest around a still lake. Nothing here will hurt you. This is where Rooters build Homesteads and cut the oldest oak.
Zones · Grove Camp, Rootmother Grove, Mirror Cache, Homestead Plots
Fishing
One small island, one huge body of water. At night the water flickers violet and stranger things bite.
Zones · Angler's Rest, The Shallows
Hostile
Ground soaked in Static. Everything attacks, the ore is the best on the island, and dying costs a tenth of the gold you carry.
Zones · Firewall Gate, Glitchfield, Ironbreak, Null Reach
Sealed
The Spire rises out of the Fountain only after every Shard is home. Seven floors, one for each Act. The Core waits at the top. This is where the token is earned.
Zones · Unlocked by all seven Shards
A sixteen minute cycle. Street lamps light after dark and the world shifts to a cool violet cast.
Rain and falling leaves roll through each realm on their own clock, shared by everyone standing there.
At night the Static pushes out of the wilds. Nodes corrupt, Glitch creatures spawn and rare drops appear.
Seven Acts of four missions, then a two-mission finale. A new Act opens no sooner than 24 hours after the last one began. Most players take 30 to 45 hours. The fastest finish is seven days. Only the finale pays $CYBERTARA.

Server judged, never client claimed
A mission completes only when the server sees the harvest, the kill, the craft or the portal crossing happen. The story is the gate, and the gate protects the pool for real players.
02 — How to earn
Finishing the Root Path is the only way to earn $CYBERTARA from gameplay. The claim is simple for real players and expensive for anyone trying to fake it.
Sign a free message with your Solana wallet. It costs nothing and moves nothing. Your Root Path progress is bound to that wallet from then on.
Complete all thirty missions in order. The server stores a completion record with the time of every step and every Shard.
Automated checks look at pace, input patterns and clusters of accounts sharing a device or network. Clear finishes pass through. Unusual ones are reviewed by hand.
At the end of each Season the reward is split equally between every verified finisher, up to a cap per wallet.
The reward is sent from the Root Path Reward Pool as a public SPL transfer. If the network is busy, the payout is queued and retried until it lands.
A permanent record of your finish, shown on your profile and the Lumen Square honour wall.
A cosmetic crown that only finishers can wear. It can never be bought or traded.
Your share of the Season reward, paid in $CYBERTARA to your linked wallet.
03 — Tokenomics
$CYBERTARA is an SPL token on Solana. It is earned by finishing the Root Path and used across the player economy. It never buys combat power.
Paid to every verified finisher of the Root Path, season by season.
Buy gold from other players at the price they set, paid in $CYBERTARA.
Premium cloaks, hats and Homestead skins from Vella's Wardrobe.
Holders vote on the next realm and the theme of each new Season.

Announced at launch
All reward pool and treasury wallets will be published so anyone can follow the balances on chain.
Gold is the everyday currency. It comes in through play and goes out through spending, fees and risk. Players list gold at a price they choose. Buyers pay in $CYBERTARA. There is no automated pool. The treasury keeps 5% of every Gold Market sale. Half of that fee returns to the reward pool.
Listed gold leaves the seller's purse at once and is held until it sells or the listing is pulled.
The buyer's transfer is read back from Solana and checked for mint, source, amount and destination before any gold moves.
Every transaction signature is recorded, so one transfer can never be claimed twice.
04 — About
Long before anyone remembers, the Architects planted a single Seedcube on a lonely island. It took root. Out of it grew Cybertara: a forest wired with light, where every tree carries a current, every ore vein hums with data and every lake reflects a sky full of code.
At the centre stands the Core Fountain in Lumen Square. It pumps the Root Signal through the whole island. The Hollow Warden watched the Core for so long that it began to fear change. One night it cracked the Core into seven Shards. From the cracks came the Static, a violet corruption that freezes whatever it touches.
You wake beside the dry Fountain with no memory and a small green cube in sunglasses staring up at you. Its name is Kubo, and it chose you.
“The city was never built. It was grown. And anything grown can be healed.”

Whitepaper
Version 1.0, published October 2026. Thirteen chapters, from the night the Core cracked to the disclaimer you should read before you take part.
Cybertara is a free-to-play isometric MMO in the browser. One shared world. The Root Path is seven Acts and thirty missions. Finish it and the server pays $CYBERTARA to your wallet. The token is not a login bonus.
The Architects planted a Seedcube and a city grew. The Hollow Warden cracked the Core into seven Shards — Memory, Growth, Tides, Iron, Ember, Will, Dawn — and the Static spilled out. You wake as a Rooter beside Kubo.
Kubo is cut from the same root as the Core, which is why it can feel the Shards. Miri, Hallis, Dregg, Brann, Sable, Vella and Korr keep the city running while the Warden tries to keep it still.
Five maps joined by the portal ring north of Lumen Square. Stepping on a portal moves you with no loading screen. Day, night, weather and Static surges are shared by everyone in that realm.
Wood becomes planks, planks become tools, tools open zones, zones hold Shards. Seven skills, each to level 60. Splicing is the one the story is built on: a cleansed node gives its first harvest to the player who fixed it.
The engine was a sandbox. Cybertara adds the Root Path, the Core Spire, Kubo, Homesteads, moving townsfolk, Static surges and the Two Circuits — Verdant or Lattice — which change your cloak and weekly bonus, never your combat power.
Seven Acts of four missions, then a two-mission finale. A new Act opens no sooner than 24 hours after the last began. Most players take 30 to 45 hours. The fastest possible finish is seven days. Only the finale pays the token.
Link a wallet, finish every mission, pass verification, wait for the Season close, then receive an SPL transfer. 25,000,000 tokens a Season, 50,000 cap per wallet, one claim each.
An SPL token on Solana. One billion supply. It pays finishers, buys player gold, unlocks cosmetics and carries a vote. It never buys combat power. The contract is announced at launch.
Gold comes in through play and goes out through shops, fees, death and upgrades. Shop prices react to stock. The Gold Market is players pricing gold in $CYBERTARA, with escrow and a 5% fee that feeds the reward pool.
A TypeScript monorepo, an authoritative server at 20 ticks a second, and a Three.js client. Clients send a direction, never a position. The map is grown from a seed on both sides so a snapshot stays a few hundred bytes.
Genesis in Q4 2026 opens the brand, the fair launch and a public playtest of Tara Prime, Mosswire and Acts I to III. Awakening, Restoration and Expansion follow through 2027, ending with Season 2 and a realm chosen by vote.
The paper is information, not an offer to sell a security and not financial, legal or tax advice. $CYBERTARA is a utility token. It can fall to zero. Features, rewards and timelines can change. You keep your own keys.
The world ticks 20 times a second. Every move, harvest, item, coin and trade is checked on the server.
Client and server grow the same terrain from a seed. Only changing state crosses the wire.
One mesh per chunk, instanced props, no shadow maps. A busy town stays near 90 draw calls.
Textures, meshes, icons and sounds are generated at load. Night is a single colour multiply.
Players sign a free message. The server checks the signature and links the wallet to the account.
Token payouts are queued and retried, so a bad minute on the network never eats what you earned.
Phase 1 · Q4 2026
Phase 2 · Q1 2027
Phase 3 · Q2 2027
Phase 4 · Q3 2027 onward
This page describes the current plan for Cybertara and $CYBERTARA. It is for information only and is not an offer to sell or a request to buy any security or investment product, and it is not financial, legal or tax advice.
$CYBERTARA is a utility token for use inside the game. Owning it gives no share in any company, no right to profits and no claim on any revenue. Its market price can go up or down, and it can fall to zero. Nothing here promises a price, a return or a future value.
Game features, mission design, reward amounts, Season lengths, caps, allocations and timelines may change. Rewards depend on verification and on the rules in force at the time of the claim, and may be withheld from accounts that break those rules. You are responsible for the security of your own wallet.
